The Board of Trustees of The Scotland College of Chiropractic Charitable Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Ankur Tayal (chiropractor) as the new Principal of The Scotland College of Chiropractic

After an extensive global search, and an exacting interview process with several incredible candidates, Ankur was chosen to take the College forward through the process of higher education validation, and statutory regulatory accreditation.

A Canadian who grew up in Toronto, Ankur studied his BSc at Queen’s University in Ontario before gaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life College of Chiropractic West in 2009. In 2018, he gained an MBA from the University of Victoria, British Columbia.

Ankur was in full-time chiropractic practice until 2017 when a calling to inspire the next generation of chiropractors took him back to Life West as the Philosophy Department Chair, and Director of the Life West Business Institute, and earlier this year, he was appointed Chair of Chiropractic Philosophy and Technique.

A great fan of the Beatles and an avid sportsman and musician, Ankur is looking forward to relocating to Scotland and being part of a collaborative Chiropractic community in the UK and Europe.
